AI and Ancient Acupuncture Intelligence: Case Study 20 years later

Helmut Retzek, MD, well known physician and medical educator from Austria, asked me to give a short Zoom lecture to a group of about 60 physicians in Vienna on parasites, dental, and fungal infections and acupuncture meridian assessment (AMA). AMA bridges Western, Eastern, and German Biological medical traditions, revealing bioenergetic interconnections within the body, brain, and oral cavity. Until recently considered on the fringe of integrative or alternative medicine, there are now growing numbers of European physicians who are embracing this long forgotten/re-emerging Energy Medicine.

Case Study

I presented a case study from 20 years ago with a whole list of symptoms and diagnosis, it was near-impossible case to handle by conventional medicine then and now. I asked Dr. Retzek how AI might interpret this case and to compare it with my recommendations. Dr. Retzek is an expert in utilizing multiple AI software for investigating medically challenging cases. I was interested in how AI may evaluate the case differently from AMA.

A 52-year-old white man came to see me in 2005. He was an Air Force Colonel from the White House and he got sick while he was in South America for his duty. He was air evacuated to Walter Reed US Army hospital and had only a partial recovery and persistent symptoms, see the table below.

Case Study: Air Force Colonel – Initial AMA Evaluation

Comments: After an initial dramatic response, his symptoms started coming back and he had to be treated again with more parasite medications. He also has dental problems, heavy metals problems (mercury, lead and nickel), and multiple allergies to be addressed.

Summary: After reading how I treated the patient successfully with Ivermectin and Tinidazole 20 years ago, and comparing it with the AI-assisted evaluation and recommendations on the case: what do you think of AI and AMA? Dr. Retzek gave a clue to the treatment plan by using my name, Dr. Simon Yu’s protocol. I did not see AI hallucination and I was impressed! I believe there is a need for coexistence of AI and ancient intelligence, as outlined in my new book, Accidental Cure 3: AI vs Ancient Intelligence.

AMA translated his symptoms and diagnosis into frequencies – signaling patterns – that have been known for thousands of years, by indicating where imbalances caused by infections, inflammation and degeneration were present on meridians. Medication testing revealed which Rx rebalanced the meridians. AMA converts a systemic analysis to a bioenergetic frequency “musical scale.” I synthesized the treatment plan based on both Western medical science and Eastern energy medicine.

Dr. Simon Yu, MD is a Board-Certified Internist. He practices Internal Medicine with an emphasis on Integrative Medicine to use the best each has to offer. For more articles and information about integrative medicine, patient success stories, and Dr. Yu’s latest book, Accidental Cure 3: AI vs Ancient Intelligence, visit his website at www.preventionandhealing.com or call Prevention and Healing, Inc., 314-432-7802. You can also attend a free monthly presentation and discussion on Integrative Medicine at his office on the second Tuesday each month at 6:30 pm, live or via zoom. Subscribe to his newsletter on the link on his website to receive seminar invitations, RSVP, and get the zoom link. Seating is limited, arrive early. Dr. Yu teaches Acupuncture Meridian Assessment (AMA) seminars to physicians, dentists, and prescribing health professionals three times a year: in Germany in early March, in St. Louis in early May, and an advanced training for AMA graduates in St. Louis in early September.
