Is it possible that clinical neurology and neuroscience can be exciting? I always thought it was a complicated, mind numbing, boring, dead-end medical field with limited treatment options available to physicians. What would you do for an advanced Parkinson’s disease, MS, post-stroke patient, or some mysterious neurologic disorders? Is it possible to reverse what were once considered irreversible neurological disorders by merging new brain neuromodulation technology with acupuncture meridian assessment (AMA)? Reboot, reset, restore and reactivation of dormant partially injured neurons with transcranial direct current electrical stimulation (tDCS) is possible based on the latest neuroplasticity principles according to a doctor from Cyprus.
Based on your learning about the dangers of “silver” mercury dental amalgams, root canals, and cavitations, you may have gotten rid of these and yet had no real sign of improvement in your unexplainable medical symptoms. Your last unsuspected tooth might be standing in the way of your recovery from weird and seemingly irreversible neurological disorders. Even after your last unsuspected tooth is extracted based on acupuncture meridian assessment (AMA), you may still need brain neuromodulation to reboot, restore, and reset your brain. Let me explain why, and what is possible.
Last year, I began researching and learning Brain Neuromodulation developed by SOZO Brain Center in Cyprus. Dr. Kattou, the co-founder and chronic pain specialist, is an Australian who had his medical education and training there, is fluent in English, and had a military background as a behavioral analyst for MI6. He stumbled across a unique neuromodulation therapy which he modified to cope with his own severe chronic pain. Multiple surgeries did not relieve his pain until he began to use neuromodulation therapy. See my article, Brain Neuromodulation Therapy from Cyprus: Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) for Parkinson’s, Depression, Mild Cognitive Impairment, for a quick introduction and background.
In December 2024, the 1stSOZO Conference was held in Vienna, where about 80 SOZO-Certified doctors of various medical specialties came together to share insights, demonstrate unique practices backed by extensive research studies and discussed ways of reversing neurological disorders beyond current understanding of clinical neuroscience. These doctors came from 11 different countries including the USA, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Kazakhstan, Australia, Cyprus, Lebanon and Turkey. We shared new ways of restoring neurological and brain functions, and the rest of bodily functions regulated by the master organ, the brain.
I have been describing and sharing my unexpected “accidental cure” responses for last 30 years for many incurable conditions uncovered with acupuncture meridian assessment (AMA). First, I use parasite medications, nutritional supplements, and homeopathic remedies based on AMA to improve and restore gut health; and chelation, detoxification, and binders to address heavy metals, environmental toxins, and fungal infections. Second, I use AMA to detect hidden dental problems beyond what can be seen on x-rays and cone beam scans and refer for dental treatments and oral surgery. Dental DNA testing has been validating my findings. Third, I use a range of bioenergetic therapies, including brain neuromodulation and auricular nerve stimulation to rebalance the meridians.
The dental-oral cavity is the gateway to the airway, the brain, the gut, the heart, the lungs, the lymph system, the nervous system, and entire organ systems. Brain Neuromodulation is a new concept and emerging field. I see how we can merge and combine these two fields of ancient and emerging neuroscience to create a new field of Radical Healing.
I was invited to give a talk on integrating these two separate concepts at the 1st SOZO Conference in Vienna in December. I spoke on, Acupuncture Meridian Assessment (AMA) guiding Brain Neuromodulation. The Gallbladder and the Dental meridians influence the Vagus Cranial Nerve (CN 10) and the Trigeminal Cranial Nerve (CN 5), and control brain activities. The slides below describe and illustrate the interconnections between the Gallbladder Meridian and the Brain.

Gallbladder meridian disturbances and imbalances which influence the Vagus cranial nerve (CN 10) are often correctable with parasite medications (Ivermectin, Pyrantel pamoate and Praziquantel), with Gallbladder/Liver flushes, and by following a detox program. Brain Neuromodulation using SOZO’s unique approach of applying tDCS and taVNS techniques can stimulate the neuronal membrane potential and rebalance the meridian system.
Here is a case study of a 32-year-old with anxiety, depression, insomnia, and fatigue. She responded to brain neuromodulation therapy and rebalancing the five meridians that were out of balance (blue bar). Typically, I would start this patient on parasite medications to rebalance the meridian system. She said she felt better and slept better. But I told her that she still needed to take parasite medications to balance the large intestinal meridians and gallbladder meridians to have a long-lasting benefit.

Some of the indications for Brain Neuromodulation include: ADD/ADHD, Addiction, Anxiety/ Depression, Bipolar, Chronic Post-Operative Pain, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalitis, Fibromyalgia, Insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Migraines, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Post-Stroke, PTSD, and more.
Brain Neuromodulation Therapy is an exciting new field in neurology and neuroscience. I am compelled and committed to introduce and promote Dr. Kattou’s teaching in the United States. He gave his first two-day training in the US in August 2024 as part of my Advanced AMA Training in St. Louis.

In 2025, SOZO Brain Center and Dr. Petros Kattou will return to the US at these events:
- March 28-29 in Miami (2-day workshop)
- August 21 in Atlanta (one-day pre-conference workshop at ICIM – International College of Integrative Medicine)
- September 11-14 in Louis (4-day combined AMA and Neuromodulation Workshop
My main message at the Vienna Brain Neuromodulation conference was that Acupuncture Meridian Assessment can be used as an early detection and warning system for neurologic disorders, complementing and guiding brain neuromodulation. For more information, you may email SOZO Brain Center at info@sozobraincenter.com or visit https://sozobraincenter.com/neuromodulation-workshop. Dr. Helmut Retzek from Vöcklabruck, Austria has extensive case studies and research data using brain neuromodulation posted on his website at heli.retzek@ganzemedizin.at. Information and how to register for my AMA training seminars is on my website.
From my perspective, dental is the most difficult part of the healing process when you have complex medical-dental-medical problems. I am all for combining AMA, Brain Neuromodulation Therapy, and Biological Dentistry for Radical Healing. Let your physician and biological dentist explore and get trained in neuromodulation and acupuncture meridian assessment. Get assessed by a biological dentist, and don’t let your Last Tooth stand in the way of your recovery. Radical Healing is coming!
