COVID-19 Vaccine Induced Kidney Disease: Highlights from Dr. Peter A. McCullough

Recently I attended an International College of Integrative Medicine (ICIM) conference featuring Dr. Peter McCullough. ICIM is a not-for-profit medical organization that seeks to teach the latest research in preventative, alternative, and innovative treatments. Dr. McCullough presented a lecture titled, COVID-19 Vaccine Induced Kidney Disease: Mechanisms, Management, and Prognosis. Dr. McCullough gave insights on the structure of the virus, pathophysiology of COVID-19 vaccination, kidney diseases reported after vaccination, an overall risk/benefit analysis, and a protocol for base spike detoxification. I will share important highlights from his lecture.

SARS-CoV-2 Structure and Pathophysiology

The virus includes several notable structures: Multiple proteins surround the virus’s outer layer and the virus contains mRNA (Messenger Ribonucleic Acid) within its center. Most notable on the outer layer is the presence of a spike glycoprotein which contains 1255 amino acids, several of which are similar to human tissue proteins.

Vaccination

Dr. McCullough shared that there are potential health risks of mRNA-based vaccine therapy for COVID-19 and also from contracting the virus itself. The notable spike protein remains circulating in high amounts in the bodies of some patients, and that has been linked to multiple adverse events or even death. During his lecture, Dr. McCullough focused on kidney injuries and diseases reported after vaccination. Potential explanations for these adverse reactions include:

  1. A hyper-concentration of mRNA
  2. Carrier DNA (cDNA) process-related impurities
  3. Visible contaminants

Symptoms of Long COVID

Following COVID 19 vaccination, some patients experience a phenomenon described as “Long COVID.” Long COVID can impact multiple systems including Cardiac (Heart), Gastrointestinal (Stomach and Gut), Neuropsychiatric (Brain), and Respiratory (Lungs). Long COVID may also impact systems that affect the whole body (such as the immune system) resulting in fatigue. Long COVID can also occur after the disease itself. Through its impact on multiple systems in the body, Long COVID is correlated with a litany of symptoms and conditions:

Autoantibodies Latent virus reactivation
Changes to the microbiome Monocyte driven tissue damage
Coronavirus persistence Systemic inflammation
Endothelial damage Thrombosis

Spike Protein Antibody Detoxification

Fortunately, a simple blood panel may be ordered to determine whether a patient has elevated levels of the SARS-CoV-2 antibody: https://requestatest.com/coronavirus-covid-19-igg-antibody-blood-test. Here is Dr. McCullough’s diagram for spike detoxification following vaccination or COVID-19 infection.

Dr. McCullough recommends the following supports for spike detoxification (3-12 mo. per testing). See the diagram above and his website for suggested dosages:

  1. Bromelain – breaks down protein, prevents excess blood clotting, anti-infective
  2. Curcumin – anti-inflammatory, anti-infective
  3. Nattokinase – breaks down protein, prevents excess blood clotting 2000

Additional supports for detoxification vary based on clinical symptoms and may include:

  1. Digestive enzymes
  2. Quercetin
  3. Resveratrol

Dr. McCullough notes specific syndromes (cardiovascular, neurological, endocrine, thrombotic, and immunological) will require targeted therapies.

Conclusions

Dr. McCullough shared that both SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID 19 vaccination contribute to spike protein accumulation in the body. The spike protein is linked to causing disease, is correlated with clotting of the blood, and is potentially a therapeutic target for clinicians. Dr. McCullough urges careful documentation of patient history regarding SARS-CoV-2 infection and the brand, timing and doses of COVID-19 vaccines.  Dr. McCullough acknowledges that more spike protein research is urgently needed “given its long-acting potential for pathogenicity in the human body.”
